![]() Author has written 1 story for Sky High. Well, hey there. My name is Karilyn, I'm 15, and my fanfiction alias is Vivian. I kinda wish I could change my username to something else, because I'm not really all that into vampires since the Twilight series became an absolute war between team Edward and team Jacob. (If I was a fan of Twilight-which I KINDA am, but I'm not too willing to admit it-I would totally be team Jacob. He's there for that annoying, feelingless girl, Bella even when Edward comes back. He's my kind of guy, even if you take away the fact that he morphs into a giant dog and is very muscular.) I prefer the kind of vampires that AREN'T sparkling fairies. You know, the kind that burn in the daylight and feed off of HUMANS, not animals. I like those better. My boyfriend likes to tell me that I'm different. I always reply with, "Well if I was like everyone else at school, I'd be an annoying, skinny, preppy bitch." Then he glares and me and says, "You're not fat." Mainly because I'm always mentioning my fat-ness. I know that tons of girls complain because they think that they're fat, but I don't think I'm fat, I KNOW I'm fat. Once I asked my mom if she thought I was fat, and she told me, "You're not fat, honey. You're husky." I glared at her, snapped a few swear words, and stalked to my room where I spent the rest of the day wrapped in a hoodie. My own mother even agrees with me, and mother's aren't supposed to say stuff like that. Jeez. I really, really like the color black, and I'm kinda creepy and mean. For example, I'm always wearing the same thing. Jeans (a different pair every day, of course), a black t shirt, and my black hoodie. I'm also always reading odd books. For example, for English class, we have to read a book within five weeks or so, and at the end of five weeks, we do a book talk about it, which is basically telling everyone about the book. So far my books have been The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King, The Dark Half by Stephen King, Luna by Julie Ann Peters, Salem's Lot by Stephen King, and Burned by Ellen Hopkins. Luna is about a boy named Liam who isn't a boy at all. He's a transgender, and Luna is his female self. Imagine my class' surprise when I explained that book. :) Burned is about a mormon girl who's mother is beat by her drunk father. The girl gets sent to her aunt's house for the summer because she broke a girl's nose and threw her backpack through the window of the library. She meets an amazing guy, and if I tell you the rest it'll ruin the ending, but all in all, she goes insane. The Eyes of the Dragon is about a prince who's father was murdered by his own magician/assistant, and the prince was framed so that his younger brother would take the throne like the magician wanted. The Dark Half is about an author who has two alias' and his alias that he stops writing as and "kills" comes to life and gets the author to tach him to write so he could survive because if the author wrote as himself, his other alias would die. Salem's Lot is a very frikkin creepy vampire story. Classic vampires, like Dracula almost, minus the bats and the fog. Well, almost everyone in my english class knows that I can be very creepy very often, and they weren't very astonished when I was hyper and excited telling the tales of brutal killing and hatred. I guess they kinda saw it coming. For our next book talk, I'm going to tell everyone that I read Twilight (which I have) and I'm going to give a terrible review about it. It's gonna be awesome. My boyfriend is just as odd as I am. He doesn't give a shit about anything or anyone (well, except me) and he's only still in school because we're too young to run off without the cops following us. I told him that we could leave town once we both graduated high school, but I highly doubt we'll stay together that long. Most couples don't. |
