Oh, where to begin. I love writing! It has been over four years since I have felt confidant enough to put ideas down on a tangible source. Having gone through a few rough life patches, all creative sirens and inspiration was drained from my system. When I wanted to write, nothing came out, which in turn made me depressed and continued to further block any spark of creativity. I met my husband in May of 2011 (married in 2014) and he has been one person who has not doubted me. I went (and am still going through) a True Blood (book and show) obsession and he came to me one day and told me to write about Eric. *Insert crazy look directed towards husband, but he was completely serious. I toyed with the idea for weeks until one day my sister (a whole 15 years old, I on the other hand am in my late 20's) came to me and asked me proof read her manuscript. I was shocked at her confidence and between her and my husband, I began to take Charlaine Harris's Eric and put him into my own story (Godric's Lover). The more I read her manuscript the more I felt that I could do this, I could write again. I told my sister that I was getting back into writing. We had a long dialogue about writing and she finally told me she wanted to read it when I was done. I got so excited that I began tossing plot points off of my husband (who feels Godric should have a longer life in the show). He totally got into it with me and proof reads my chapters to make sure the story follows smoothly. I have enjoyed borrowing these characters to help get me back into the swing of writing (Except for Sadie, "she is mine").

If you are still reading, I thank you for taking the time to read this quick and crazy bio as I venture back out into the world of writing. On a personal note, I share my home with my husband, our pug, terrier mix, black cat, chinchilla, and fish. I have my masters in education and am a certified middle and high school teacher. I am also a certified scuba diver and photography amateur.

Peace,

JFlan

"With what you are, Fairy Princess, you need to be somebody's or you won't be at all. Eric is handsome, he's rich, and in his own way he cares about you. He really does." Though I hated to admit it, Pam was right. (1/7/2014 - Editing previous chapters. Will be the same, but corrections will be made.)
