Why Kallen and Lelouch?

Considering that my stories so far are of the pairing I guess I should explain why. As a literature and history student, I reserve judgement after analysing the characters carefully.

I'm not here to do an argument but state my own opinions. You can agree or disagree. That's your view. And I respect that. This is mine. So respect mine.

For one, the two are my favourite characters: Lelouch well go read the critics on his character analysis and you'll more or less get the rough idea.

I've always liked Kallen even since season 1 though it was only after watching the whole series my fondness for her cemented:

Kallen is for one, possibly the most human character in the series and is far too underrated by the series, partly due to focus on CC and the cover pages. She's loyal but not in an absurd way. She's gone through shit (Haters, remember that in your biased heads. And don't bother trying to compare to blah blah blah to CC cos I'm fully aware of that too.) possibly as much or more than Lelouch himself. And yet she remained her own person. She's honest with her thoughts and has strong morals despite her anger and hatred. She is possibly the most earnest character in Code Geass. There's a lot more but I'm going to try and elaborate that in my stories rather than speak the words.

(For those people who consider Kallen a slut, you're basing it on because she's presumed attractive in the series, running gag based on her nude and the way people depict her in those hentais and drawings? -_- Seriously?)

Why the pairing?

Well, honestly I didn't support this pairing at first. I was a Shirley-shipper in the beginning until season 2. I liked Kallen and Lelouch and would have (at that time) like to pair them up but I don't support pairings that have no clear signs of romance with only PRESUMED evidences. Yes, even for this couple I liked. Possibly because of my history background.

R2 made very clear attractions between Kallen and Lelouch (that even the haters can't deny. If you could, you're more blind or biased then I presume.) I more or less listed the evidences in My Queen (though not the first chapter that one I admit was done based on my views).

Lelouch's side is evidently more complicated considering how rhetoric and cryptic his words are. It's as the Code Geass wiki state: it is clear that he cared for all three main characters or four if you count Euphemia. Though I feel other than Shirley, Lelouch's seems to be more attracted to Kallen. Physical attraction I don't really need to say after all Kallen was the only one he tried to kiss by his own choice.

I could go on but I'm not going to.

Why not CC?

Surprisingly I like CC. I just disagree with the notion of the pairing between her and Lelouch romantically (mind you ROMANTICALLY). All hints with CC as far as I could see are not concrete and vague that could be read platonic-ally.

What I can say for CC is I don't like the way her character is written as her and her pairing seems far too much like an anime magical girl stereotype. (Kallen too seem to fit the stereotype in the beginning of CG which is why I found her not as interesting until seeing more of her)
