Where should I start?

I'm a 19 year old girl living in the New England region of the US. My dream is to become a writer ( Scratch that, wrote one book and now I don't think I could ever do this as a job), but I hope to be heading to University for Teaching English(Scratch that too, I want to be a History Professor now). My other interests include History, Psychology, Language, Geography, and Politics.

I love all mediums of entertainment, reading is my favourite hobby but music is the most important form of art in my life.

Music: Muse, Chopin, Anita O'Day, Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell, Ray Lamontagne and The Who...etc.

Authors/Poets: Hunter S. Thompson, Albert Camus, Jack Kerouac, Ray Bradbury, Frank McCourt, J.D. Salinger, Walt Whitman, e.e. cummings, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Robert Frost and more. I also love a good graphic novel.

Artists: Jackson Pollack and Edvard Munch

Films: Far too many to list here. I enjoy most types of films except extremely gory horror flicks like the SAW films etc.

TV: The Daily Show with John Stewart, The Colbert Report, Scrubs, The Office Flight of the Conchords, Doctor Who, The Young Ones, Coupling, and anything on the Travel, Discovery, and History channels. Though I hardly ever watch TV anymore.

As of this moment I don't have any pieces up, and I don't know if I ever will. This is my second account on ff.net, my first one having been created when I was 12 years old. I urge you NOT to go looking for it. I took a break from writing fan fiction about a year ago but I still enjoy reading it.
