Lance, Pidge, and Hunk have signed on to work at the Carnival of Lions as it travels up and down the California coast for their last summer together before Pidge and Hunk go off to college. Lance missed application deadlines, so all the end of the season looks like to him is a nebulous void. But the carnival might have more to offer than cotton candy and shy games.

Zarkon was a ruthless creature, and Lance wasn't afraid to openly praise the passing of the tyrant. Being the prince of the Alteans, however, meant he had to remain as civil as possible in ways he wished he didn't have to. Including meeting up with the Galra prince - the son of a murderer - and showing him around the castle to unite the two races.

Set after season six, the team are forced to deal with a new threat with the ability to brainwash and control the blue paladin. Keith confronts a vision from the future and learns to be a better leader, and Lance learns his place in the team. Very fluffy Klance.
