It's been years since the Reaper War ended. The threat is over and all is well. Right? ...Right? Well here I am again. Couldn't stay away. I reckon a part of me will always dwell with these people and this galaxy and frankly, that ain't so bad. For those who haven't read Resolve this may not make much sense, so I recommend you start there.

To the rest of the galaxy the reapers have become little more than a legend, but for those who lived through the war Shepard is still a hero and when the asari decide to reclaim Thessia, she finds herself drawn back into galactic politics.

Susan Rizzi, N7 Fury, is the galaxy's new hero. Petrovsky takes charge of Cerberus. Garrus Vakarian, now a Spectre, must make a choice between duty and loyalty. Ashley Williams suffers a series of devastating losses.

Commander Shepard's death only strengthened her as an icon for humanity, a reality that catapulted her to great heights in the public eye even as she was discredited by the Council. After being resurrected by one of the galaxy's most shadowy organizations, she must again work to challenge an enemy that others refuse to believe exists. AU through a realistic lens, reworked plot.

What make someone Spectre material? Being an unstoppable force of lethal badassery while maintaining a solid moral compass. From her time on Mindoir to the eve of being assigned to the Normandy, Shepard endures and excels where others would crumble and fail. Eight chapters of canon-compliant prequel awesomeness (with weekly updates) just waiting to be read.

My AU retelling of ME1 in a darker, sinister universe. Much darker and more realistic views of the SA and the Citadel Council, a more dangerous, involved Cerberus, and a more conflicted Saren and Benezia. Changes much of the ME1 dynamic to remove plot holes with more focus on politics, military strategy, and space combat. Pairing is FShep/Liara. Rewritten through Chapter 65 so far.

Sovereign was defeated, but the dark corners of Shepard's mind were still filled with the contents of the Prothean beacon, and they demanded expression. Being accustomed to putting the needs of others first, Shepard was no good at taking care of herself. Fortunately, her girlfriend rose to the challenge.
