Elyse will never win an Oscar or an Emmy or a Tony. She won't ever be awarded the Noble Peace Prize or a Pulitzer and she probably won't ever be famous. If her name ever becomes household, it will probably be for being a good, but boring, person. But she's okay with that. She’s leading life the only way she knows how.She is a highly pessimistic, cynical and sarcastic teenage girl. She loves teddy bears and Dr Pepper and Sour Skittles. She plays nine instruments and likes to think she speaks Latin. She’s that kid that sits alone at lunch with a book in her hands.

Elyse wants to be a teacher, either for second grade or special ed. She’s going to join the Peace Corps after college and work in Russia. She’s going to adopt internationally and wants to be a foster mother as well as having children of her own.

She’s not a size two, which could be for her soft spot for chocolate chip cookie dough and anything sour. She wishes she had a boy in her life but won’t settle for anybody less than good for her.

She’s just kind of wandering down life hoping it brings her to the right place in the end.
