I changed my penname to Newton Ransom. (It was Ransom Catastrophe) I'm aware that it sounds like a guy. Here's the story. It's the name of a little town about an hour north of where I live. I like the name because it has a ring to it, and to think about it, it's rather interesting. Newton was a genius, wrote the laws of motion, built the first practical telescope, developed calculus, all sorts of geniusy stuff. Ransom is obvious. "To pay the price to set someone free from captivity or punishment" says Webster. So in a sense, Newton Ransom could mean to pay for being smart, or to pay for being creative or inventive. Just a thought.

I enjoy everything way too much. I hate everything else in excess. I'm bubbly. I'm opinionated. I can get extremely obsessive. I'm spaztastic. I'm aware that isn't a word. I also say ain't. So sue me. I'm a bad person. I have commitment issues. The voices in my head have trouble taking turns. I'm the worst writer in the world because I almost never finish a story before I start a new one. I'm not a complicated person. There's really not that much going on.

I love peppermint, werewolves, autobiography's of rock stars, mainstream anime, dance music, Mercedes, DDR, Michael Jackson, Rubik's cubes, candelabras, Synyster Gates, studying religion, Hannah Montana, Kingdom Hearts, and my DS.

I think Stephen King, iPhones, Barack Obama, The Jonas Brothers, Halo, Eddie Vedder, Twilight, KISS, Myspace, Playstation 3, and organized education are overrated, despite the fact that I'm trying my darndest to get into a good college. I am very smart. I took Physics as a junior, being the only junior in my class of 900 to do so. I took Algebra 2 in 8th grade, while half the juniors are taking it this year. I was in a 4th-5th grade combined class. I'm smart, I just hate school. I prefer learning on my own terms, finding the facts from books, not what some crook tries to tell me. I think most (not all) teachers are crooks. They do it for the money, not because they want to teach. Half of them don't even know what they are talking about. My 3rd grade teacher told me Pikes Peak was a volcano.

I own 10 books written by JK Rowling. I'm not obsessed.

When I really like an OC, I use them repeatedly. Others get scrapped.

I'm minorly obsessed with Adam Baldwin. I can't even say his name without a big cheesy smile crossing my face.

Taco Bell is the best fast food in the world. Carl Jr's (or Hardy's depending on which coast you're closer to), is a close second. Sonic's pretty awesome, too. Dude, I'm so excited! I've lived in PA for like 5 years and finally they are building Sonic's out here! Yay!

John Lennon has the right idea, even if it was completely drug induced.

My current dreams included going to West Chester University or Rutger's University, working for the Smithsonian, getting an internship for the CIA, and beating the new Super Mario brothers for the DS.

I like to write about the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. I'm an estranged family member.

I don't write hate mail. If I don't like what you write, I just won't read it, I'm not going to complain about it. I've got that decency.
