Words are the most powerful tool in any human being's repertoire. Far more helpful than action and far more dangerous than a gun, words can be like the flutter of a butterfly's wings - subtle, yet still beautiful. Words can be like a slow acting poison, floating into ears and off of tongues, being blindly believed and followed. Words can be twisted into complicated variations of simple things, with weak connections to the original statement, but still technically meaning the same thing. Words can be made into images, paintings. Words can be made into a performance, like plays and movies. Words can be spoken forwards and sdrawkcab, LOUDLY and quietly, to crowds or to yourself. The one thing words cannot be: taken back and forgotten. Words, especially in our age of technology, are immortal.
