 Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. I'm a recluse and for more than five years haven't gone more that 10 meters away from my home. I'm by no means sociable and I am not involved in any social media platform. My hobbies include: Reading Harry Potter Fan Fiction People-watching Making lists Making homemade peanut-butter Watching documentaries09/29/13 I've finished fifteen chapters of The Green Flame and I will post them within the next 2 weeks whether someone reads them or not. I'm planning on writing some M-rated fics just to try out different writing styles. 10/06/13 I seem to be stuck in Chapter 17 of The Green Flame. I seem to lack the motivation lately. The doctor assured me before that I don't have ADD; it's just an attitude problem. I'll try to finish this today so I can fulfill my own deadline. By the end of this month this fic would be mostly done. 10/08/13 I am revising some details of The Green Flame. But I won't change anything major, just minor details and scenes involving supporting characters. I think it would make the presentation of the main conflict in this story if their would be lots of 'mysteries' that confuse the readers. So I'll do it. I promise that this is leading to something... 10/12/13 I think I won't be updating soon. I'm still writing Chapter 19: What the Winds Bring. In this chapter would be the infamous 'meeting on the train' but how different would it be with the trio's different preconception of each other? But enough of that. I'm hooked in some photo manipulation contest at this moment (meaning for the past week or so) so I won't have a lot of time to write and I like to post chapters where I've written at least five more ahead of the time. But thank you all for reading, reviewing and following. 10/26/13 I changed my mind. The 'meeting on the train' would be on another chapter. That's all. 11/13/13 There was a storm - one heck of a storm actually. The internet connection was down for a while...but it's got nothing to do with me not finishing Chapter 21 of The Green Flames; I was just knitting and lazy. It's the cold I tell you. 12/08/13 I just want to research some recipes in the internet but then my laptop won't turn on. How inconsiderate! I just looked at it for a few days before I sent it to a computer technician for repair. I don't know if it could be repaired yet so I may not be able to update my fics until January of next year. I don't think I can rewrite all the chapters that I have already written (but was yet unpublished). It just won't be the same. So I'll be waiting and waiting... I don't like using another computer 'coz my laptop was my bff for 2 1/2 years. So bye for now. 04/05/14 It's been a long time...well...There would be an update on The Green Flame in a few days...The Boy Who Lived Again would be in an indefinite hiatus (I want to discipline myself and finish the first fic)...and... 04/06/14 For some reason or another I don't like the pairings [Harry,Ginny, [Harry, Hermione] & [Harry, Luna]. 04/13/14 It's getting near to the pivotal point [The Green Flame]. Three or five chapters more to the final arc. I'm having quite a hard time though filling in the chapters and making each chapter get to a place where I can smoothly present the conclusion of the story. Yeah, that's it. 04/24/2014 I know that people who find my fics interesting have a certain "acquired taste" and could still say that this style of writing is not their cup of tea. For the past weeks or so I've been reading a lot of fics and learned that they have a general pattern to it - a flow and command of language I sadly do not have. When write essays, dissertations and reports (I got paid so I do it) words seem to flow easily but when I write in narrative form I seem to struggle and second guess myself (even my grammar (How dare you prepositions! I learned about you in second grade!)). Well, enough with the rant. What? Earthquaaaaake! Oh it stopped now. So back to topic. I'm re-writing the Epilogue of The Green Flame...earthquaaake! That was fast. 4/24/2014 a few minutes after the first one... I've got a feeling that I accidentally deleted (or maybe I forgot that I deleted it? I'm so young for Dementia! I need to experience the infamous 'Quarter-Life Crisis' first!) one of my profile updates. I'm sure that there's one that talks about the 'Epilogue' that I wrote even before I'm half-way through writing the fic [The Green Flame] but where is it? It's been deleted for sure... 6/18/2014 I just turned my laptop on after 8 hours of non-stop usage (it has nothing to do with rewriting The Green Flame, mind you). To give an overview on what would change in the fic, I'll be enumerating important details in this bullet list: Harry's childhood with the Dursleys would be written in more detail. The Dursleys' reaction to magic (esp. Vernon's) would be more realistic to what I think is a Muggleborn parent's initial outlookThat's a list already right? 11/8/2014 I lost my on The Green Flame (It's on the laptop that's so dead right now) but I'm not giving up hope on it. I'm just diverting my fickle mind on anther fic. |
