Five years after the defeat of the Archdemon, Alistair and Elissa are brought together by a common threat, and must try to know each other again in the roles of their new lives.

Alternate Miranda/Alistair universe. Miranda did not become a grey warden, but was instead captured and imprisoned by Howe. She is rescued by Alistair and Alim, the last two grey wardens in Ferelden, near the end of the blight. Rated M for mature themes.
