I feel as though I am somehow cheating, writing this story. I consider myself a diehard Gill/Julie shipper, and here I am posting this Gill/Rachel story! I can only say after watching the last episode and hearing that line again, I just had to write this. The first line is obviously lifted from the episode. I own nothing except the story.
