A slightly altered telling of the Crimson Flower route, focusing on Byleth and Edelgard's bond and evolving relationship. Long form, narrative focused story made up of novelised version of in-game scenes and plenty of original content in between.

Though the path they walk is one that is dyed blood red, it is a path they take together. A tale of friendship, heartache, and love between the Adrestian Empress and her beloved mentor from their days at the monastery, up until the very end. SPOILER WARNING FOR ALL OF THREE HOUSES.

Byleth wasn't exactly sure what he was expecting when he was first offered the job of Professor at Garreg Mach Monastery. But being put in charge of instructing ALL three Houses of the Officer's Academy was certainly not it. A Slice of Life story where our dear teacher struggles with being (almost) everyone's favorite person on campus.

To love her was liking playing with fire, a fool's venture no doubt. Ritsuka was many things, and a fool might have been one of them. Brynhildr wished she could let him love her, but she knew better.
