2017 update

What was here before was written 8 years ago, so I figured it's time for an update. A lot has happened since then - I graduated from college, I graduated from graduate school, I started my career, I got married... and in the midst of all that, fanfiction fell by the wayside. But my interest in it has never left me. And although I've never written a complete story myself, I have always wanted to, and so I'm back to try my hand at it again.

I don't read nearly as much fiction as I used to, but I still have my standby favorites, notably The Chronicles of Narnia. I always loved the books, and I enjoy the movies as well. My favorite character is Edmund, so any stories I write are likely to be Edmund-centric, and may feature my second favorite character, Lucy, as well.

I'm working on a Narnia story right now (as of June 2017). It's a totally made up story that I envision happening a year-ish after the events of The Horse and His Boy. It may take some time to finish, and I promise not to post anything until it is complete. Here's to hoping I finally finish my first story. I have about three chapters so far, ~5000 words, and may end up with approximately 12 chapters in the end. I edit edit edit like CRAZY - my favorite part of writing - so it may take me a while to polish it up.
