Hi guys! I'm Ironelf, or just Elf if you want, that's cool too. To start, my young mind first conjured up the idea of making stories based off of other stories/movies/etc when I was about 8 (maybe 9). When I finally figured out that there were other people out there who had the same idea and that this concept actually had a name, fanfiction, I was hooked. A little while and some amount of boredom later I stumble upon this site, then end up creating my own profile. And hey! It turned out pretty well!

I'll let you know that writing is sort of something that I was born with. My godmother, CS Marks, kind of had an impact on me. (Any and all LOTR fans should look at her books, the Elfhunter series). I'm not talented enough to draw, at least not yet, so I try my best to do what I can do, and write. Ever since 2nd grade I've had this strange love for writing, and only recently have been putting it to work. Someday I want to be an author, a real author. So if any of my fanfictions share some things in common with an actual book that gets published, chances are that I wrote it and my dreams came true. I'll get there someday.

As of right now, I'm a high school freshman. It's actually not as bad as people told me it'd be. I'm the youngest in my grade, and had I been born 15 minutes later I'd be a grade lower. That would be REALLY weird because I'm already taller than most of the kids in my grade. And even though I may be tall, I'm probably the quietest person in the school. I hardly ever say anything and instead write it all out. If you ever met me you'd have to ask me to speak up. But don't tell me I mumble, I truly hate that. Just don't do it.

I live out in the country where the nearest town is ten miles away, and have no siblings. To be honest it gets pretty quiet here, but that gives me time to write. Of course, that's when I'm not taking care of all the animals. I've got 4 dogs, 8 cats, 5 horses, and a Gold Capped Conure named Paolo. A lot of times Pao will be with me when I write. He's a really smart bird, knows the time and when he should be fed. He's like a colorful alarm clock (adorable, am I right?). But I still love him to bits.

I am a dork and proud of it.

My parents met in a biology class, so if I sound too sciency for my own good that is why. I'm lazy. I am, in fact, very sarcastic. Being the teacher's pet and the teacher's favorite are two different things. Trust me I know. The teacher's pet is the one who is tossed around and called cute names (his name was Snookums, by the way). And the teacher's favorite is the one who gets all the sympathy for having to be in the same grade with these heathens, but still somehow manages to be the most evil in the school. If you haven't already guessed it, I was the favorite. I feel no regret. I'm afraid of Southern Leopard Frogs. Believe me, when you're out at night and you hear thousands of these things, it sounds like bones clattering at the bottom of an oubliette in the depths of Hell. I seriously thought Slenderman was going to get me. Other than write, I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life. I'm one of those percussionists, the most insane members of the band. This year I got stuck with the glockenspiel. I mean, how unlucky can you get? Add that on to the fact that I hate sharp, high pitched, annoying noises and you've got yourself a cranky Elf! Guess what. I'm still a dork.
