If you're taking the time to read this, I guess you want to know something about me, right? Well... let's see what I can tell you...

I'm a seventeen year old girl who lives in the States. My creative hobbies include writing and music, though I'm really a nerd at heart. Although my native language is English (I'm an American through and through), I'm also reasonably competent in German - that is, I can read & understand the Harry Potter books in German.

My main fandom is Harry Potter. That's most of what I read, and (so far) all of what I write. I like to stick as close to canon as I can, and with the exception of Remus/Sirius you probably won't find me writing any ships that JKR has not explicity stated have happened or will happen (that is, I'm mainly an L/J shipper, although I might do some Harry/Ginny in the future...). I like to pick isolated events in the books that JKR mentions but not explains, and create backgrounds/explanations for them. For example, I like to do minor characters - I've already posted a fic about Nicolas Flamel, and have one on Rita Skeeter coming up.

When not found reading - or writing - fanfic, I can be found writing one of two other things: absolute nonsense fluff (it's sort of a thing that my friends and I do just for fun... we have "fluff competitions") or working on any one of my more serious short stories. Either that, or I'm doing homework. Stupid AP classes!
