 Hi All, I am a SVM tragic in particular I am Team Eric all the way. I was started off by an acquaintance who suggested that, as I enjoyed Buffy, I should give True Blood a look. Well, not having cable, I went home and downloaded the first 2 seasons, yes, I know it is very naughty of me. It sat on my computer for a month or so and then one weekend, when my husband and I were at a loose end, we decided to give it a look. Well, we watched then entire 2 seasons that weekend. I immediatly got out my computer and ordered all the books from Borders. I originally heard about the show in October 09, I watched the show in November 09 and promply ordered the first 8 books and side story books. I received the books on December 20, 2009 (told you I was a tragic), by the middle of January 2010 I had read the entire series 4 times. Quite by accident I happened onto EricNorthman dot net and began to read all the SVM stories there. One of the author's notes mentioned "ff". Now, I had absolutely no idea what ff was so, I Googled it. Thank you Google, I found Fan Fiction and I think I can safely claim to have read all the stories over 20,000 words - I like a long story with a bit of meat in it. Now, a bit of a gripe. What's with all the AH stories in SVM???? How the hell can you put a AH story in here? It is Southern VAMPIRE Mysteries. All Human stories are missing the integral ingredient, VAMPIRES. I get so disappointed when I get author alerts telling me that yet another AH story has been updated. Grrrr. Post them somewhere else. Eric and Sookie human stories are no more interesting that John and Betty. I don't want to rain on anybody's parade or thwart anyone's originality just, if you want to write about boring old humans, do it somewhere else. I'm here to read about VAMPIRES. I enjoy the AU's of Bon Temps Baby, Terri Botta, Ericismine, Mavrosal, FarDareisMai, Morgainne Swann, Mairemor and many others, as well as the originality of a lot of the Fan Fiction authors just not the AH. Anyways, that is my gripe for the day. I would just like to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all the authors who taken the time and energy to entertain me. I am jealous of your immaginations and vision. I just wish I could do it... I don't review every chapter except for Addicted to Love and Late - because you just HAVE to encourage those girls, they are beyond amazing - but I do review MOST stories I read. I don't review stories I don't enjoy but, I don't want to discourage any writer.
