Brynhildr in the Darkness (Anime) Some of my fondest memories as a kid were spent in a quiet place in my school's library writing. With today's technology and the internet, I can share my work with everyone who would read it, though the idea of baring that part of my soul seems a bit terrifying. Some of my inspiration comes from seeing aspects of fictional characters in myself, friends, family, coworkers, etc. but the vast majority of it comes from the characters themselves and how I imagine their lives beyond the confines of the glimpses we've been shown. I always see them as infinitely more complex than words could describe, no matter the author's skill. I use this inspiration as a stepping stone to try and make their story a bit richer, more complete, or even just shed a new light on how I picture them outside of the world we know them from so far. A few things you should know before reading ANYTHING I write- 1. I don't have a lot of free time to update frequently- I work a full time job, have classes, and work a few part time jobs from time to time. 2. I appreciate feedback, but if you just write "lol ghey" without explaining why you don't like what I wrote, I can't improve upon my work, so I'll probably ignore your comment in favor of reasoned criticism. 3. While I don't base my stories on their merit, I use plenty of slang and obscenities to suit certain characters' personality. If you get offended by such things, please move on. 4. I'm highly critical of my own work, but if you see something I missed, please tell me. I'm glad to correct it. 5. I aim to please. If something that I write moves you, tell me! I love the positive feedback, and if something seems like its going off in a bad direction, let me know then as well. |
