After Hermione left her post-Hogwarts education, she never expected to run into Draco Malfoy in South America on her holiday. But she did. She never expected to fall in love with him during that holiday. But she did. She never in a million years expected to return to London to the Prophet announcing his engagement to Astoria Greengrass. But... she did.

When Hermione returns to Hogwarts alongside many of her peers to complete her 8th year, she is not expecting the course of events that will lead her into a game of seduction, lies, deceit and mind-blowing sex. She certainly never expected it to have anything to do with what Draco Malfoy did to her at Malfoy Manor during the war.

No one knows what happened to Draco Malfoy in the final battle, but, when his portrait shows up at Harry Potter's house, it's readily assumed he didn't make it. Hermione's perspective on the wizard starts to change as she learns more about who he really was. The more she knows, the more tragic his apparent demise seems to be. EWE Dramione
