Oi oi! I'm Robinwinghood, feel free to shorten it however you see fit. Right now, I'm working on two fics, one for Harry Potter, one for MLP:FIM. I've tried writing Sherlock fanfic, but I've quickly discovered that I am neither witty, nor clever enough to write Sherlock himself. Somewhat a problem.

I have an odd thing when I read, watch, or play through a story. I'm usually most interested in the world the story takes place in. For instance, I quite enjoyed the Golden Compass (Haven't read the books yet, but I am planning to do so), but I was more interested in the daemons than in the actual plot. Harry Potter is another one. I love the story itself and the characters to my core, but I just wanted to know so much about the wizarding world. Often, I'll wish that I could literally jump into the worlds of books, not for the adventures, but just for the libraries and the workings of normal life in that world. This is probably why my fic somewhat leans on the less epic end of the scale. Kaylee Drake will never have the fate of the wizarding world on her shoulders, Bubbles and Steelkin will never defeat Discord. They will all have relatively normal lives in comparison to the original stories' protagonists, simply because that's what I wanted to take a closer look at. The struggles in these fics will be far less grand and consequential than what you will have seen in the original, but that's what I like writing.

I feel I should warn people, I am a spectacularly slow writer, as is. I'm trying to train myself to write a thousand words a day, but, well, that hasn't happened yet. That is my final target though, and I will be very proud of myself when I can do it reliably. Kindly don't think things will update very quickly.
