This story takes place in what may or may not be a point in the possible future of Night Vale. It's hard to say. Time is strange, you know. Perhaps this happened in the distant past and after a particularly bad day Time decided to scrap the whole thing and start over. All anyone really knows is that red doors have begun appearing in Night Vale.
