Hi, thank you for your interest in my stories! For anyone wondering, my penname, Allaway, means Wild Field in Scottish. I am very appreciative of those following my Burn Notice story who have been so patient with me- your gentle prodding is always welcome and has been encouraging at times. Just know that in long periods of no updates, it is because I am "honing my art" and I am hesitant to give faithful readers an inferior and disappointing chapter. Hopefully, this has not happened so far...

Like many of the burn notice fanfic writers, I wrote the story because it was invading my thoughts, and I just needed to get it out. I have done this a lot in the past with other stories and topics, but this is the first time I've submitted anything. There are not a lot of Mike/Fi stories out there, so I thought I would submit it just in case anyone else out there felt the same way...

I wrote the first three chapters for myself, out of a compulsion, and I'm happy to have someone to share them with. With the first half now complete, I look forward to writing future chapters about their time together in Dublin.

I have just begun a new Covert Affairs fic, which was begun with less passion and inspiration than the BN one, but I felt compelled to see something happen between Annie and Jai, as it has been very seldom done.

I love to read and write stories about strong, intelligent, independent women. I hope that comes across well here. For those of you who feel the same, Pride and prejudice sequels are highly recommended, as is the exquisite film "Dangerous Beauty." Any recommendations for me?
