![]() Author has written 37 stories for Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Pretty Little Liars, and Ravenswood. Sometimes you get it right, and sometimes the Dark Mark fades. Hello! My name is Melissa, and welcome to my profile! This account is now basically inactive. I'm still going to keep my old stories up, but I won't really be posting any new ones here. Thanks to everyone who has read my stories and continues to read them. If you want to read other HP stories, check out my friend NimbusSeeker70, and if you want to read more PLL fics as well as stories for Titanic and a few more fandoms, go to my friend Lady Elena Dawson. They both have some really awesome stuff. Thanks for stopping by! Reviews are encouraged and appreciated. :) WARNING: Flaming may lead to a Harry-Potter-creature-filled arena in which you are the only tribute so you are guaranteed an attack. The Stages of Writing Fanfiction As decided by NimbusSeeker70 and myself
Stage 2: Having an amazing idea and realizing you need to look everything up and make sure it’s canon Stage 3: Finishing research and being excited about starting the story Stage 4: Trying and failing multiple times to think up a good way to start Stage 5: Getting going on the story and then running into writer’s block Stage 6: Thinking about where to go next. And then thinking more. And thinking. And thinking. And thinking… Stage 7: Abandoning the story for a while and hoping you’ll have an idea when you return Stage 8: Having a brilliant idea for a conclusion Stage 9: Rereading and editing the story Stage 10: Elation at finally finishing quickly followed by concern and worry that people won’t like it Stage 11: Sending it to your best friend so she can read it and tell you what she thinks Stage 12: Having said best friend tell you that it’s really good Stage 13: Feeling confident and starting to post… And realizing you need a title Stage 14: Finally coming up with a lame title and resigning yourself to it because you’re anxious to post Stage 15: Checking your inbox repeatedly every ten seconds Stage 16: Happiness at your story’s success or disappointment when it doesn’t do well Stage 16 1/2 (optional): Face-palming when you find out the Dark Mark eventually fades Stage 17: Repeat |
