[pt 4] Atlantis has risen. But maybe it isn't as bad as it seems when Desmond returns. It's different now though, he's different. The future will come to pass and it will depend on his anger, and his mercy.

The world has been saved by Desmond Miles, however the savior, the assassin, the man- still lives. With the aid of his father and fellow assassins, both current and ancestors past, he will recover from the damage dealt to him in the past months. Like the assassins before him, he will rebuild the Brotherhood and lead them to triumph and defeat Juno and her plan to enslave humanity.

Tony has problems in the aftermath of the fight with the Chitauri, but his team is there and, hey, he's just been to space, give a guy some slack. The next morning they accept, but when he collapses weeks later, they're not going to let him brush it off again.

Altair feels someone is watching him. Desmond feels his life falling apart. A thousand years isn't any distance at all, really.

[pt 3] Desmond is gone and those he's closest to don't know where. All they're told that he will return and that while they wait for him to come back they should make use of this time to prepare for their last stand against Those Who Came Before.

[pt 2] It's the end of the world. Humanity is all but destroyed and Those Who Came Before are on the rise without a hope in sight for the human race as their slowly killed off for sport. There was supposed to be a hero, someone who was supposed to set everything right. No one's seen him in a long time...
