Headcanon – Uchiha Sasuke is not oblivious to how popular Haruno Sakura has become over the years. Once in their lives, she tried to spend most of her free time solely with him. However, years later, Sasuke begins to feel a frustrating displeasure rise when he realizes how happily she splits her time with others, especially those who are not a part of the immediate Team Kakashi.

Karin had this philosophy: to feel good, you had to look good. She lived by this idea rather religiously.

The elders of Konaha thought that Itachi had only returned to the village once in the five years following the Uchiha Massacre. But that wasn't true; Itachi had returned many times. He was there, watching silently in the dark shadows, as his precious little brother dragged his feet home every night.

Dark. Sasuke/Sakura. AU. In the morning, when all the pretence has dissolved and they have finished the deeds that will become the death of them, he pretends he is asleep when he hears her sob. She breaks too beautifully, he believes.
