I like to think of myself as a writing handyman. I can do just about any form adequately, but the one I can do well most of the time is prose. I'm a thriller/horror writier with a lot of interest in perspectives. My favourite author's are people like Stephen King, James Patterson, Dean Koontz and Patricia Cornwell so seeing as this is a Fanfic website, expect a lot along that kind of book, both parody, sequal and 'deleted scenes' type things. I really don't like people who can't write properly, Dictionaries are the best reference tool, use them. Other things too, like the obvious grammatical errors, such as "Putting the punctuation outside of the speach-marks"! What the hell is with that? Writing horror and thriller generally comes with a lot of realism, my works are strictly for those who can handle a bit of sexual nature, violence, homosexuality, ethnic minorities, casual racism in the general public (Not me, my characters sometimes) swearing and the occasional gore. I say occasional, it's going to be pretty often, I wont lie to you. What I wont do is create pieces that have it in every line to try and capture an audience. Only where necessary will you find this kind of stuff. At 17 years old, I expect proper critique. I'm thick skinned, so I can take any constructive criticism you may have without whinging about being targeted or how "U dont liek me cuz im different :'(" Hopefully there are some mature people out there. |
