As I don't have many stories posted, the only reason you're here is probably because A) You fell down a rabbit hole, or B) You are looking for a certain kind of story. These are things I look for (and don't look for) in stories- Likes: Well-written stories (don't we all?) AU stories Time travel stories Parallel universe stories (I love these, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me) One shots that make you think OCs when they are realistic (not Mary Sues) OC/Canon romance that is realistic (not love at first sight) Friendship stories Stories that exceed expectations Long chapters Slow-burn romance Friendship one-shots Dislikes: Stories without commas Mary Sues Badly written fight scenes Torture stories Abandonment stories Flames (I have never been on the receiving end of these, but I think they're terrible) Silly ANs in serious stories (tee-hee! *winks and blows kisses to groaning audience*) Stories that say the next chapter will be up in X amount of time, but haven't been updated for years (This makes me sad, though you gotta write when you gotta write) OOC characters that have no reason to be OOC I follow uncompleted stories that I like, and I only favorite stories that are already complete. As soon as a story that I've followed is completed, then I will favorite it instead. I also think that there should be more fan fiction poetry. There are so many good poets out there, and nothing makes the inspiration flow like a good poem. |
