I needed a get-away from all the nastiness the world is presenting us with at the moment so I sent Joan and Sherlock off into a storm in the woods. Borderline joanlock if you squint and imagine

As promised yesterday on tumblr, here is my "anniversary-thank you for reading all my stuff for the past two years" fic. I'm posting it here, on tumblr and AO3 and then (hopefully) taking a small month long hiatus to recharge the batteries. I just wanted to express my gratitude for your kindness and support of the multitude of joanlock I've foisted on you.

Too much time spent together and Joan and Sherlock agree - they need to just get away from each other. Loosely written, some humor (hopefully), platonic joanlock - mainly from Watson's POV. This is a sort of continuation of the "What Smitty Saw" stories. I swore I would never do a pregnancy story with these characters. It always seemed so OOC to imagine them as parents but cadencelili asked about it and started me thinking that perhaps with this lighter version of Sherlock and Joan it might work. A small ch. 8 is now up! Almost done.

Last story to the "Never Happened" series. This is blatant joanlock fluff bordering on torrid- granted my idea of torrid is much, much tamer than most. I tried. Knowledge of a Bruce Springsteen song or two would help to enjoy this a bit more, as would reading the other stories in the series, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

This is a sequel to "Did Not" (which was a prequel to "Never Happened") ... So this is a sequel to the prequel. Joanlock of course.

This is a prequel to "Never Happened" - fluffy practically platonic joanlock.

I needed some anxiety reducing joanlock … So I wrote some. Kitty is away, the relationship with Andrew is over, and Sherlock and Joan are spending some time together. The best way to describe it is fluffy, borderline smutty treacle with no insight or purpose other than distraction (actually don't get your hopes up, it's not really smutty) This was previously posted on tumblr.

Set a month or so after the date of the first episode of season three, so mild, very mild spoilers. Sherlock and Joan open up to each other about their time apart. A bit of angst, platonic joanlock. This very, very loosely ties in to my previous story "Brooklyn/London." Please let me know if you spot typos as this was written quickly on the spur of the moment

The story is set well into season three and is a followup of sorts to my last fic, Embers. You don't need to have read Embers, but it would help a tiny bit if you had. Joan and Sherlock are back to working as partners. This one kind of got out of hand. It's very fluffy joanlock and be warned by chapter 3 it's solid joanlock. Slight spoilers with use of name of 2 new characters.

Set right after the end of season two so spoilers. Chapter one is Sherlock POV as he tries to sort out his feelings. Chapter Two is Watson's reaction and POV. Chapter Three is a reconciliation of sorts. Crosses slightly into joanlock territory.

Just for fun, silliness to lighten things up, joanlock. I just added a Chapter 3 to end their adventure. That's it, I promise, now it's complete.

I went through and combed out this little fic's gnarled tenses and straightened some of its crooked phrasing so it is a little easier to read. Comfort fic, i.e., I wrote it to make myself feel better after the end scene of 2x22.

After the occurrences in "Meaningless Incidents," things changed but two unspoken rules remain: 1) Feelings for each other are never verbalized to anyone else; 2) Physical demonstrations of affection in public are forbidden. Slightly spoilery for "All in the Family." On a rewatch of Sherlock and Watson's interaction in tux and gown at the police station, I wondered what they did after they left. I thought I was done with this story, but apparently more needed to be said. This is as angsty as I get, but it still falls on the lighter side of joanlock. It may help if you've read "First," "Second," "Rounding Third" etc. but this can also stand on its own, I think.
