So, where to begin, where to begin... Well I should really start off with some background information. I'm a nineteen year old University student from the UK (Oh, one day we will realise that conforming to certain EU restrictions will only bite us in the ass in the long run.) and I'm a major fan of just about all aspects of Japan, from the culture, to the entertainment and scenery. In fact, I wish to visit Japan at some point in my life, be it for a holiday, or for an extended stay. (Not permenant though, mainly due to the fact that I wish to go into Teaching, and right now, my sole specialty over there would be teaching English oddly enough, despite my specialising in Mathematics and Education on my Uni Course. Thanks to my interest in Japanese Entertainment, within the last year I've begun to enter the realm of Tokusatsu. This isn't my starting point with Japanese entertainment though, I'm a massive Anime and Manga fanboy, and I have a selection of about 5 series that are ongoing for that. For the subject as a whole, I'm currently in the middle of a multitude of shows, those being: Detective Conan (Anime only, Ongoing) Tokusatsu that I've finished: You'll probably notice that I'm a fan of the Shounen genre. Never really looked at Shoujo, that may change at some point in the next year. I'm also a very avid gamer (Thankfully non-FPS, give me a good platformer, JRPG, or comic-book action game anytime.) who is currently pressing on through the first of the Dot Hack games, and will be attempting to run through all four of them in that set. I also have three or four Final Fantasy games, and I own practically every Pokemon game from the main series, the only ones I'm lacking being Blue, Gold, Diamond and SoulSilver. Ever since I found other Pokemon fans I could meet on a regular basis, hunting down both versions has kind of lost the need. For my actual lifestyle, you could really call me a nerd and be done with it. I hardly ever go out and am not very social (those parts are changing though, I'm getting better.) and don't spend massive amounts of time outside. If I have access to the Internet and such, I'm happy. If not, I'll find something else to entertain me, but it won't hold as long. This page will have a section dedicated to giving a longer summary to my fanfics, as well as a statement about the general inspiration for them. This will be once the profile part is done, and as such will be underneath. Unfortunately due to the fact that I am currently still a student, I will not be very fast to update. My Pokemon fiction is a prime example. It will be updated, but just not very quickly. Besides, right now I'm focusing on my Goseiger adaptation in order to flesh that out, and I'm finding it to be a lot more fun to write. I'll most likely update the Pokemon fic sporadically and will attempt to write at least one chapter of my Goseiger adaptation per month. Now then, onto the summaries for my fanfics that aren't bound to a character limit! Power Rangers: Guardian Angels Pokemon Neo |
