![]() Author has written 1 story for Twilight. Close To Home is my first attempt at writing Fan Fiction- or fiction of any kind actually. Writing does not come naturally to me so it does take a lot of effort for me to get things just right. I posted this story as an attempt to enhance and explore my novice writing skills- not to ever become a legitimate author. I live in Norfolk with 3 gay men and one cat. I love the Twilight and Harry Potter books (although I wasn't a huge fan of Breaking Dawn) I love to laugh and watch TV- I read FF like it's my fucking job- I have even tried to read while driving. I love shopping for jewelry at random beauty supply stores. I love chunky ear rings. I smoke a lot. I have a foul mouth- but I don't think it makes me sound ignorant; just easily fired up. I Like- D&D The Gilmore Girls Any Real World VS Road Rules Challenege shows Medium Greys Anatomy Gold Coat Reds The Interwebz My kitteh Soft pillows and plush blankets. Maximum comfort at all times- just sayin. My BlackBerry. Yeah, I know- but whatever. My roomates. Cleaning. Lemons. Being snarky and cynical. Sometimes I'm so dry in my humor that people who have known me for years can't tell if I'm joking or not. Attempting to write a great FF. Drinking until I giggle and start to hug people. I dislike- Ignorance. It aint bliss. Un warranted pretention. Bad FFs that, oh man, just don't make any sense. When I find myself so wrapped up in a FF that I can't wait to keep reading and find that - oh, no it isnt complete nor has it been updated for 5 or 6 months. It's a major FML moment. Oddly enough- homoerotic FF. I LOVE the gays but something about my beloved Edward yanking off Mr. Whitlock makes me a sad girl. The Twilight movie. I didnt hate it- infact I have seen it a few times. I guess I just felt a serious sense of anti-climax. I am going to see New Moon because I have to- but I'm going in with no expecations this time. |
