My name is Self-Made Hooper. I luv Fan-Fiction stories, but my favorite is Sonic Fan-Fic stories because I'm (sort of) a Sonic fan. And I love basketball with all of my heart.

About my penname Self-Made Hooper. At the age of 4 is when I started playing basketball and as the days, weeks, months and years went by in my pre-teens, I started to learn the game myself. But that doesn't stop there... At 10 years old I lost my uncle (name I won't mentioned) of an enlarged heart disease and I was devastated, because he was the guy who gave me lessons of the game of basketball. For two weeks I stopped playing because I needed him to help me learn the game of basketball. As the years went by after my uncle's passing, I became a one-dimensional basketball player as a spot-up shooter. By the time I went to Middle School (A.K.A. Junior High) in the 7th grade, ...I didn't make the team. It broke my heart. I went home crying to myself of not making the team in my 7th grade year. But what I realized, it gave me motivation to work hard on my game not just by me shooting basketballs all the time (even though it stuck with me) but to learn the little things with advanced fundamentals. As the years went by in my teenage years, I not only learn the skills of basketball, I learned how to have the IQ by listen, learn, and study the game of basketball by watching how players play and coaches coach the right way. And by the age of 19, three words "self-made hooper" came into my mind because of what I went through throughout my basketball-life and personal life as well.

Oh wait! Did I mentioned myself "what I went through throughout my basketball-life and personal life as well?!" Think of the two words 'self-made' and 'hooper'. Starting with the term self-made. Self-made is a definition of a person who grew up poor nor had nothing special given, or someone who was born as a disadvantage, that later became successful in life. I, however, wasn't born poor nor never received anything that was special (except when I was a kid). I was born as a disadvantage with one word: autism. Yes ...autism. The disorder I had by birth. The disorder I became diagnosed with at the age 4 (the same age I started playing basketball). The disorder I was impaired without any social interaction and verbal communication. The disorder I became restricted with abnormal behavior. Luckily I'm not like those facts I've stated anymore, but I still currently have some flaws of my disability without taking any medication. Shocking isn't it!? The way how I'm writing and the way how I do it. My way, the right way. Point blank.

And think of the term hooper. Hooper is a word a person describes itself as a basketball player. And I already explained myself as a basketball player.

And again, by the age of 19, two words "self-made hooper" came into my mind because of what I went through throughout my basketball-life and personal life as well. And so, SelfMadeHooper ...was born.

About Me: The reason I became a Fan Fiction writer because it will help my writing skills. This will help me when I have an writing assignment to work on in the near future, or whenever I feel like writing. For my future goals, I planned on becoming a professional basketball player whether playing overseas, in the D-League (NBA's Minor League), or hopefully in the NBA. After my playing days are over, I'll either become a head-basketball coach for the girls or the boys or a Color Commentator for basketball. And I have autism.

As a Fan-Fiction Writer,
I'm not much of a writer, but when I do write a story, it's mostly the Sonic the Hedgehog cast about basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport, that's why. But soon in the near future, I may write an action-packed story or any other story I may come up with.

Stories I've Written (So Far)

Sonic High School: Basketball Season- This story is about Sonic and the gang playing basketball at Knothole High School, a top-ranked school in the nation and state of Georgia when it comes to basketball. Everybody at school, including the players and coaches, is excited about the up-coming season this year. Knothole High hasn't won a State/National Championship in seven years. Will this be their year, let's find out. (This was my first ever fan fiction story.)

As a Sonic fan as well as a basketball player/fan, it has been in my head for quite a while before I became a FanFiction member. So I decided to give it a try. I'll admit, it was the first time I've written a fanfiction story and I've made some typical errors like not writing the story the way it should be. I did had some help re-writing it (and still do, now on my own) and I've ended up completing this story. If you haven't read this fic, this is a basketball story of 25 players (12 girls and 13 boys) playing high school basketball at Knothole Village High School, Knothole High School for short, trying to win the Georgia High School Region AA state championship. Also these Sonic characters (male and female) are compared to an actual basketball player from past and present by their personalities, skill set, and athleticism; as well as who they are in general. Like Sonic plays like Derrick Rose and their personalities are Laid Back and Julie-Su plays like Russell Westbrook and their personalities are Neutral, etcetera. So if you're a basketball player/fan as well as a Sonic fan, give this story a shot.

Love & Basketball: A SonAmy Story- Sonic and Amy play 1-on-1 against each other, for love. Amy has been in love with Sonic since she was 8 years old. Sonic, however, doesn't love her anymore because he is now engaged to Sally. Will Amy win his heart back or will she have one of the most heartbreaking losses in her life.(This story was also in my mind for quite a while when I was still working on Sonic High School: Basketball Season.)

After watching the movie Love & Basketball, I was thinking to myself, Heh, why not. But I didn't do the whole story of the actually movie (which I did thought about doing it, don't get me wrong). I just decided to put the part when Quincy McCall (Omar Epps) and Monica Wright (Sanaa Lathan) are playing 1-on-1 at Quincy's backyard of where he has a divided-in-half basketball court. As I stated from the paragraph of my first fanfic, I made some typical errors, and with some help I went back and corrected them. If you seen the movie of the part when Quincy and Monica played 1-on-1 and wanna read this story of the exact setting, feel free to do so. But the actual setting I have written is totally different; but still, feel free to do so.

What's For Desert- Mina and Tails are having their 2nd anniversary of being together. As soon as they were finish eating, Tails asked Mina for desert. Mina knows what she's finna give him, but Tails starts off with a better idea.

This is a LEMON SCENE. I repeat - A LEMON SCENE. This is the third fanfic I've created, as well as my first ever Lemon story. This story starts off as Mina and Tails (one of my favorite Sonic couples) having their second anniversary of being together. This story was called "In Those Jeans: A TailsXMina Story" (from the song In Those Jeans by Ginuwine), until I looked back and realized "What's For Desert" was perfect for that story. As I stated from the paragraph of my first and second fanfic, I made some typical errors, and with some help I went back and corrected them. So if you're old enough as well as matured enough to read this story, feel free to do so.

Teammates Forever- Meet Sonic and Amy. Both basketball players, both 15 years of age, and both upcoming Freshmen at Knothole Village High School. These two hoopers dream of becoming basketball players in the future. They don't know each other yet, but soon will when it comes to the sport they love with a passion.

This is the fourth fanfic I'm currently working on. This story is about Sonic and Amy dreaming of becoming basketball players in the future. This story takes it through Knothole Village High School (the exact high school from my first fanfiction story) for Sonic and Amy from Freshman year to Senior year, while knowing each other and working on becoming great basketball players in their future. If you wanna read this story I'm currently working on, feel free to do so.

Teammates Forever 2: College Basketball (TBD/TBA)- After becoming high school basketball phenoms, Sonic and Amy are off to play college basketball at (blank) as student-athletes. Their dreams of becoming professional basketball players are on the rise. However, there will be some challenges though: being independent for the first time, learning some ins and outs, and having to compete at the highest level against rivals and some top-rank teams and players in the nation.

As I have stated in Teammates Forever 1, Sonic and Amy's chances of going pro are there for them. (Blank University; as in the college they will go will be announced in Teammates Forever) is the exact college for them to learn the ins and outs, being independent for the first time in their lives, and taking responsibility seriously. Basketball will come to them as they continue to work on their game, learn their new teammates, contribute as basketball players, and most importantly to keep their grades in check. The rating will be T for language, action on the basketball court, and humor.

Teammates Forever 3: Professional Basketball (TBD/TBA)- Sonic and Amy, two highly-touted prospects who have now reached their dreams of becoming pro basketball players in the National Basketball League (NBL)/Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). Scourge and Fiona, also two prospects who have little-to-no expectations coming into those leagues. With the media, money, responsibility and the popularity in the atmosphere, those four can handle it. Expectations are set for those four, but only time can tell.

And so it comes to this, Sonic and Amy have made it into the pros. All the hard work, blood, sweat and tears have lead to them achieving their dream. Scourge and Fiona are there as well, but having little-to-no expectations unlike Sonic and Amy, as their only chance is to be on the roster. The money is there to the max for them, as well as handling adversity, expectations and responsibility of the fortune and fame coming in. But basketball will always stick to them no matter most. The rating, as always, will be T for language, action on the basketball court, and humor.

Basketball Upbringings- Have you ever wondered how the cast of Teammates Forever became basketball players, including what their upbringing was? Now you will know.

This is the fifth fanfic I'm currently working on. This story is about the cast from Teammates Forever of how they became basketball players, including what there upbringing was like. And while also meeting other folks who plays basketball.

Teammates Forever: Christmas Edition (TBD/TBA)- This is just nothing than a Christmas basketball story for Sonic and Amy's basketball teams, while also giving back to beloved people for Christmas.

Defense- (A side-story of Teammates Forever.) Meet Fiona, a rebellious girl who plays basketball. And meet Regina, the newest high school basketball coach in Moebius High School. Together they started out as a player-to-coach relationship only in basketball, but stuck a bond together after an tragic news.

This is the story that is out right now, including still being worked on. With this being a side-story of Teammates Forever, the characters will be human and the names will stay the same. The rating is M; not gonna tell you why, but if you're mature enough go ahead and read it.

Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy (TBD/TBA)- (Based off the same name from the Archie Comics) A group of resistance fighters were formed by the enigmatic Doom a thousand years into the future to combat enemies such as the Black Arms. Sonic and his crew, however, are there to fight the forces of evil around the galaxy to take down their arch enemy.

This will have almost every Sonic character being human along with the characters keeping their gifted-abilities. And with this being a science-fiction (A.K.A. sci-fi) story, I do have a history of watching sci-fi shows and movies, and playing sci-fi video games. But I am looking for some help along the way incase something I bring up may not look/seem right.

The rating may probably be either T or M; depending on how I'm writing it.

Sonic Universe: Future Generations (TBD/TBA)- In the future Sonic and his wife become king and queen of Mobius, and some of their friends from the Freedom Fighters ended up having families while some moved on with their lives. Then all of a sudden, an event of change occurs but a certain unknown ally is willingly to help by putting an end of this chaos once and for all.

This is in the Archie Comics of Sonic Universe: 30 Years Later - Sonic and his wife (name I won't mentioned nor not decided ...yet) became king and queen of Mobius, and some of his friends later started their own families while some moved on with their lives as Mobius lived in peace for thirty-plus years. Those thirty-plus years of peace came to an end when an evil doer came to their planet to take over their world, but an unknown-ally is there to help to take back what was first in-place.

The rating may probably be either T or M; depending on how I'm writing it.

Anarchy Homes (TBD/TBA)- (AU: Sonic characters human) Meet Scourge. A guy who lives a hood life in the project housing apartments called Anarchy Homes - a very urban-like neighborhood filled with crime in the city of Compton, California. He, his dad and his few homies been living there for as long as they remember. But once you live in the hood (especially if it's in the projects), you only have limited options. Because what happens in the hood, stays in the hood.

This all started when I was publishing Basketball Upbringings. I did a separate chapter of Scourge and Fiona's lives living there, though there wasn't very-much information and facts of them living there. In Basketball Upbringings, I have Anarchy Homes - in honor of demolished-Bowen Homes - in the westside area of Atlanta, Georgia because in the westside of Atlanta there are full of apartments and sometimes crime taking place at that area. But this time, I've switched it to Compton, California because for three reasons: one, some of the members of Moebius are evil; two, there are some folks of Mobius evil as well; and three, Compton, California (for those who live in/know that city) is a city where it has a 27.3 Property Crime Rate Comparison and 37.9 Crimes Per Square Mile.

And along with that, I myself is familiar of people living in the hood - along with some people's personalities living in the hood. Plus this story is, automatically, gonna be rated M, anyway. Why? 'Cause I know, bruh. LOL!
