I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. Pointless funny things They say, "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think the gun helps. If you stood there and yelled BANG, I don't think you'd kill very many people. You laugh now because you're older than me by mere months, but when you're 30 and I'm still 29, who will be laughing then? An apple away keeps the doctor away, longer if well aimed. Everyone makes mistakes. The trick is to make mistakes when nobody is looking. WARNING: Do NOT walk in my footsteps... I tend to walk into walls, and off the occasional cliff Eat right, exercise, die anyway. It's you and me versus the world...we attack at dawn. Parents spend the first part of our lives teaching us to walk and talk, and the rest of it telling us to sit down and shut up. Why is it that when adults have multiple personalities it's schizophrenia, but when a child has imaginary friends it's cute? Hate is just a special kind of love we give to people who suck. Love your enemies. It gets them really confused. Why in a country of free speech, are there phone bills? Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. Don't waste a minute not being happy. If one window closes, run to the next window or break down a door. I used to have a life but, that was before video games! Don't look for inspiration. Start working and inspiration will come to you. Take risks, if you win you will be happy; if you lose you will be wise. There are 3 kinds of people, those who make it happen, those who watch it happen and those who don't know what the heck is happening. The evening news always starts off by saying Good Evening and then procede to tell you exactly why it isn't. You can go anywhere you want if you look serious and carry a clipboard. Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, and dark side, and holds the universe together. Why are wrong numbers never busy? If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation? Doesn't 'expecting the unexpecting' make the unexpected expected? I do visit reality, althought it's only on a tourist visa. I used to have a handle on life; then it broke. Normality will be restored as soon as we're sure what it is. (Or all the crazy people are caught) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word? STRESS: A condition brought on by over-riding the bodies desire to choke the living daylights out of some jerk who desperately deserves it. Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change. It IS as bad as you think, and they ARE out to get you. People think they know me, They don't know me Murphy's Lesser Known Laws Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. He who laughs last, thinks slowest. Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong. If you lined up all the cars in the world end to end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them, five or six at a time, on a hill, in the fog The things that come to those who wait will be the things left by those who got there first. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day drinking beer. Flashlight: A case for holding dead batteries. The shin bone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room. A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well. When you go into court, you are putting yourself in the hands of 12 people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty. Controversial Issues: 1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning. 2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. 4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal. 5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed. 6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children. 7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. 8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America. 9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. 10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans... Re-post this if you believe in legalizing gay marriage Don't you recognize me? It's me, your child. Your baby. I'm sure I seem a little different to you now, but it's still me; I haven't changed. I'm the same person I've always been, cause I've always been this way. You loved me then...Why don't you love me now? Copy and paste if you think discrimination against LGBT is wrong. heres a pices of writting in college. i have a blog on myspace. and iv been going through it, and i totally love this lol i dont know why but it came from my heart :) The Fog of War Give All There in time you have to give. When in time you gave your heart. There comes a time when you give to all. You gave all you had; your heart, soul, and mind. When you give all that you have to others, with nothing to spare you have more than nothing to others. Your heart has given all that it has with nothing to spear. You’ve built a wall high above your heart; you can’t, or won’t let others in. You’ve been hurt one too many times to have heartache. You gave all that you could to the people you love. Who tour down that piece of you? You’ve lost a piece of your heart, and soul each time a tragedy happened. You lost all hope in humanity. Feeling like a lost puppy, you stand there as time flashes by you, in a blink of an eye. You don’t know what to do in your lost soul. So you go on, not knowing what to do. But to give all that you have left from the broken souls you had, from life, to you, and yourself. The lessons you learn in life don’t stick, but you move on as your own. Rebelling against all odds, that you will survive each tragedy of your own life day to day no matter how hard life hits you. You know in your own heart it was ment to happen that way. The above writing just came to me. I thought about lessons number three and eleven for some reason they fit into my life, and what I had to say. I hope these ties into what theses lessons have to do with my life. You can’t change anyone but yourself, and there is always something beyond yourself. That nobody knows, not even you can change what happens, but to learn from it, or not. One day I hope that we all can change the path of war, and discrimination in the world, but I know in my own heart that will never happen. |
