How I see The X-Files ending, all wishful thinking.

A hostage situation in City Hall leaves behind a battered, broken sheriff, and a mayor wracked with guilt. Trigger warnings for violence and gun threats and general angst. Slow-burn swan queen.

Not too long after Emma Swan arrives in Storybrooke, she finds herself in a constant battle with Mayor Regina Mills and it's not just about their son Henry. While fighting for dominance, the two of them retaliate against each other by any means necessary to assert their power over the other. Rated M for later SMUT

AU. Regina is deaf. Emma is the only one who refuses to give her pity. In response, Regina is thrilled by this new challenge and the stand-offs commence, but over time she finds out there is more to the blonde woman than just a target to throw a stinging quip and pointed glare at.

Emma's wasted and accidentally calls Regina instead of her mom. And Regina isn't as loathe to talk to the blonde as she usually pretends. Did things change between them so radically while they were in Neverland? (No copyright infringement intended.)

Based loosely off the concept from What Happens In Vegas. Always competing, Emma and Regina find themselves getting just a bit carried away one night. In the morning both are shocked to find their situation has changed and in a town with magic, not everything is so easily fixed. The two suddenly have to find some way to get along before one does't make it out alive.

Set before the curse breaks. An accident leads Emma to discover Regina's secret and she goes to great lengths to use it to gain leverage against the mayor. Emma slowly becomes fixated on her plan, putting everything she has built in Storybrooke, including her relationship with Ruby, at risk. Rated M for language and sexytimes.

Emma Swan works hard every night as a bartender, struggling to raise her son and save up enough to own her own bar. Regina Mills is an upper class New York photographer who wouldn't normally spare a second glance at people below her. When their paths cross, their lives adapt to each other, but how much are they willing to change?

AU from beginning of The Cricket Game. Emma thinks she and Regina are becoming friends, and it's... weird.

Greg gets back at Regina not by torturing her, but Emma. The shocks and a magic-restraining disease seeps into her brain, slowly shutting it down causing her to lose her senses one by one as Regina is forced to watch her girlfriend die.

In an act of desperation, Regina casts a spell that takes her back to the day Henry leaves for Boston. She wants to keep Emma from ever entering Storybrooke, but when she takes Henry's place, she finds herself completely unprepared for the woman who answers the door. Regina has a chance to do it all again, but no matter what, she can't escape one fact. All magic comes with a price.

Set in season 2, after Hook and Cora have been dealt with. Regina is rattling around in her lonely life and Emma is struggling to handle the strangest year of her life, with unfamiliar support systems and too many responsibilities. Is it possible the one person who'll understand is the person she can't quite bring herself to trust? TW: suicidal ideation, gunplay, substance abuse

"I have been sleeping with someone," Regina began tentatively, an acute awareness that once she said the words out loud that the madness behind her highly unorthodox situation became all the more real, "whom I absolutely loathe." •Emma/Regina•

Upon Regina's banishment, the small town of Storybrooke becomes protected once again by an enchantment that prevents anyone from leaving or entering Storybrooke. Emma and Regina find themselves on the edge of the town, wishing for a way to the other side.

"She doesn't even remember her family! How am I going to explain this to her when she hates me!" She was falling apart now. The way the women in the other room had just looked at her, with such disdain. That wasn't her wife. That was the Mayor, the Evil Queen maybe…but not her wife. (story re-edited 5-15-18)

Ruby makes Emma a dating profile. The only catch is that she's listed as a guy. That wouldn't be such a problem if Emma hadn't found Regina's profile and begins communicating with the Mayor

Mulder makes a trip to the snack machine and his choice has some unintended consequences. Let's just say Scully gets distracted by powdered sugar on her partner's lips. A government-issued Ford Taurus sees some action. You know, the usual. MSR, RST, PWP smut. Fluffy as hell. Heavily edited 7/19/18.

Alternate ending to The Jersey Devil. Remember how Mulder stared into her eyes and thought she was so beautiful? Anyone else wish it didn't end that way? Rated M for reasons that will become obvious. Warning ... thinly veiled rape.

Much more smutty than my other version, 'All things another way,' which shares the same opening 450 words or so. We already know Scully falls asleep. Mulder wakes her up. They finally both get what they have both been waiting for all these years. Enjoy!
