Hi. I guess I'm going by Noceur on here, so yeah.

I'm new to fanfiction and to writing for pleasure, as well. I've written a lot in the past and always enjoyed it, but all of that work was just that. Work. I hope I can crank out something enjoyable for anyone who decides to read my stories (or story, currently).

I'm sort of nocturnal. Well, not really...but that's when I'm most active online. During the day I'm usually outside and very physical, so that isn't too conducive to surfing the net. Yeah.

The Wild Hunt (as defined by the British Ministry of Magic) is an event in which ghosts, beasts, and any creature deemed worthy as a huntsmen and/or warrior rampages in a group across the land, hunting anything that crosses their path. This may be anything from a stag in the woods to an entire city and all of its inhabitants. The Hunt can only take place when a leader of particularly impressive magical ability, and who is capable of influencing the lesser minds of beasts and Dark creatures, appears. The last Wild Hunt took place between the sixth and twenty-third of January in the year 1666. It has since been made illegal.

The Elders (as defined by A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot) are beings who preceded humans, were the first creatures to garner magic from the world around them and eventually passed this magic onto humans thereby producing the first witches and wizards. It is said that the Elders then used their magic to become transcendent of Time and so it is unknown if they exist or not in this day and age.
