My name is Shannon, though my internet alias is Shayzy.

For a very long time, I've loved writing as an art form, and have been creating short stories and imagining new worlds and scenery since I was a little girl.

While writing is so precious to me, and I have been creating unique stories since I first learned to write, I have never written any fan fiction... until now.

Majora's Mask is a Zelda game that I hold in very high regard.

The imagery, emotion and depth of such a tortured world captivated me right from the first moment I set my small hands on that N64 controller and loaded up the game.

What I write, I do out of immense respect to the original story and the world it takes place in... therefore...

What I write, is what I perceive to be the most realistic background story and character portrayal possible.

It is by no means perfect, but it is the best that I can do.

There will be, for the most part, no fiction to my story.

The main plot will be completely unchanged.

The dialogue between Link and the other characters will remain unchanged.

The way the characters behave and speak when Link is not there to hear them will be executed as accurately as I imagine the characters to be.

Reasons for certain behavior or dialogue that characters partake in when Link is not there are an open discussion.

If you disagree with a decision I've made, I would love to hear why, and discuss our points of view.

This story will only take place behind the eyes of the characters you interact with while in Termina, Link's perspective will not be explored, as I feel this is a minor betrayal to how the game developers portray Link as a character; the silent protagonist.

That is not to say I won't delve into his character somewhat, it just won't be through Link's eyes.

I look forward to taking on this task, I am very excited to see how these characters weave their sad tales while Link is not there to see them.
