I'm a recently married, 28-year-old graduate student. Not much to tell about myself. I started writing in the 6th grade, but I've never had much faith in my stories or the way I write them. I have a tendency to be overly critical of my own writing and I proofread way too much. I kept a journal for a long time (actually several different ones) and I've written little snippets of stories over the past few years, but nothing major. I'm hoping this site will give me a nice creative outlet. If not, I'll at least get to read what all the other creative people out there are writing. I am currently working on a couple of ideas that will hopefully make it onto the site someday. One of them features an original character (who I am trying to keep from being a Mary Sue) while the other is a Shenny epistolary. We'll see if I can get at least one of them posted this summer.

I mainly created this account to keep up with a couple of stories, and to eventually use it from time to time to post fics. I also created it in the hopes of becoming a Beta at some point in the near future (see my love of proofreading above), but I have yet to fulfill the requirements. I've recently become obsessed with The Big Bang Theory, but I've been known to read Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Glee, and New Girl fics. I'd love to attempt to write a few things featuring my favorite character, Sheldon Cooper, but I'm afraid I'd make him sound too OOC. I have a mad crush on Jim Parsons (because he is hilarious and adorable) and I have talked my awesome husband into taking a trip to New York to see him in Harvey at the end of July. So, in a little over a month, I will be sitting in the mezzanine at Studio 54, watching one of my favorite actors play one of my favorite roles. I'm so excited!

Update: I am currently working on my story The Attraction Anomaly. I'm trying to update it twice a week, but we'll see how long that lasts.

Also, I am now a Beta Reader and am accepting stories.
