![]() Author has written 1 story for Hunger Games. Well, there isn’t a great deal to know, but as this space would look glaringly empty without it, here’s a little information about me to thrill the socks off you! My interests are somewhat eclectic: music and music-composition (which I’m currently studying at university; feel free to prescribe an appropriate age), art, film, literature and creative writing, the Wars of the Roses (it’s good, gory stuff – look it up!), Japanese language and culture (and – inescapably – anime), and Special Educational Needs (always useful when you’re Dyslexic). See? Eclectic. Oh, I do gabble… Despite my lack of activity on here, I’m not actually a newcomer to FF. I’ve been forced to be largely absent from this site for around 3 years, predominantly due to the fact that I couldn’t access my original account, ‘randomismyname’ (you may notice some correlation between my previous name and the truly inspired title seen above), but also because life, work and writer’s block plopped down in front of me and made the usual demands. Very selfish of them, really. But, I’m back! And, on that bombshell of a revelation, we get down to business… What I’m likely to write about: Any and all things relating to Breaking Bad, The Hunger Games, Sherlock, The Hollow Crown, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note and the characters Uchiha Itachi and Hatake Kakashi from Naruto. I’ll also admit to having a soft-spot for Tom Hiddleston’s portrayal of Loki in the recent Marvel films, and for Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness (I still think they needed a colon in there). We shall see where this takes us… There is one story from my previous account (goodness, I make it sound like an illicit past life…and perhaps it is.) that I am considering editing and continuing here: a ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ and ‘Harry Potter’ crossover called ‘The Shadows Climb’. It’s been a long time since I last looked at it, but I put a lot of work into its planning, and it seems a shame to leave it where it is. Then again, given my disgraceful treatment of all my earlier long-term projects, perhaps it should be laid to rest. WARNING: shameless self-publicising ahead! If you feel the sudden, wild urge to browse through fan-art, paintings, drawings and general obsession, you can find me on the following sites: DeviantArt: Tumblr: Society6: You could even purchase Benedict Cumberbatch’s face in the form of a rug…or a clock… Or shower curtains… Don’t pretend you don’t like that idea. News: I am currently in the process of planning (and, eventually, writing) a lengthy piece based on the character Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games, documenting his life and trials from childhood and leading up to the events of the trilogy. I’m a tad nervous about this; it will be the first time I have approached ‘M’-rated topics, and the content, characterisation and research involved in writing this will be considerably more complex than anything I have attempted before. But it can’t be helped – that’s Finnick’s life for you. Poor love. |
