The sentence for a crime that includes all possible crimes under the title of "Wild" is, as far as any inmate is concerned, life imprisonment. At Region Thirty Three, though, there's a possibility to find a kind of life within that sentence.

Daryl gets a job promotion and needs to relocate. A new town, new friends and possibly love. All he wanted was a room to rent. Such a small quaint town, what could go wrong? *I do not own the walking dead and make no profit from this.*

ZA, AU - Daryl runs into Carol and Sophia one night shortly before society begins to crumble. Their relationships, and canon events, are re-imagined as a result. AU no ZA. Daryl and Merle Dixon buy a duplex and decide to live in one part of it and rent the other part out. Little does Daryl know that he is in for a life changing experience when he agrees to let his boss' niece, Carol, rent out the other half.

He had loved her for so long. Carol was the one constant in his life which he clung to, especially during the dark times. Now if he could just find the courage to tell her and pray she could find it in her heart to feel the same. How couldn't she when they were bound by the threads of fate?

Carol has returned to Alexandria with shocking news, a new gap forms between her and Daryl, and she struggles with what happened with her girls as well as what's happening to her now. Maggie and Glenn face a heartbreaking possibility when she doubles over in pain after a hair cut. With their lives now shaken up, new bonds are formed and deep feelings are realized.

Carol and Daryl escape the prison together, confused and angry about what had happened with the Governor. Now, they must work together in order to survive, even with no destination in mind. (Caryl)

With the help of a nearby monastery, the Alexandrians have defeated the Saviors, and life is becoming settled. But a supply run to Cabela's is about to kick off a series of events that will place Alexandria in peril and have Daryl and Carol fighting for each other. Caryl-centric with some Richonne and an ensemble cast.

The group is back together and have coordinated with the other colonies to fight Negan. Carol joins in on the fight to protect Daryl, but won't admit it. They try to put their plan into action, and things go bad. Set to happen almost right after the Season 7 mid-season premiere.

7x10 was amazing. Caryl reunion was amazing but I can't get enough of them so here it is my first attempt at TWD fanfiction. In the wake of all out war - with Ezekiel dead and Morgan missing - The Kingdom needs a new leader. Carol has always considered Alexandria home but she feels like she owes the Kingdom and can't abandon the people who helped them defeat Negan. And it just so happens there's a large cat that won't stop following around the man she loves.

Carol and Daryl decide to revisit the past to tame the ghosts that haunt them.

AU Caryl. Fluffy, romance. Caryl are late 20's married when a car accident takes away Daryl's memory. Sometimes love is sweeter the second time around.

Taken by Negan, Daryl has to find a reason to go on when his guilt spiral threatens to drag him under. His thoughts before facing his death included moments of closeness with the family he made after the Turn. In his hour of greatest need, one very special person who has always believed in him appears, giving him hope.

Carol runs into Daryl when he's with Joe's group of claimers. He's forced to lay claim, but when they go off on their own, Carol takes the reins and goes after something she's always wanted. Daryl has no idea how to handle this new development. This follows all the awkwardness, sweetness and missteps of the early days of their relationship. Takes off from late Season 4

Dear Mr. Dixon My names is Sophia Pelletier. I'm nine years old and I am in fourth grade at Parkside School in Atlanta. For our social studies class we were assigned a project to write letters to wounded soldiers. Caryl ...AU.. no zombies.

"Why'd ya leave?" Her eyes drift toward an indistinguishable spot on the ground. "A lot of reasons." "Why'd ya come back?" She lets out a shaky breath, returns her gaze to him. "One. One reason."

Have you ever wondered what it would be like for shy awkward Daryl to do a panel at a con? Or Carol to do a fancy photoshoot? They're being called The Lucky Ones. Average people cast in a brand new TV show called The Walking Dead. From normal individuals to celebrities over night. Can they handle the pressure? Are they truly the lucky ones? At least they have each other.

Working at a theme park didn't seem like an exciting way for Carol to spend the next seven months, but when that theme park is full of dinosaurs, being bored is the last thing on her mind and not getting eaten is the first. However, when she meets Daryl, things start to look up for the both of them. Until the worst happens...

Everyone has heard the story of Daryl's time with Joe and his band of misfits. Daryl never expected his friends to take the rule for claiming as more than the game they made it into. Until they take it too far and someone dares to try to claim Carol. Now it's man up or take the chance of losing her forever.

This story fills in some of the gaps between the scenes from The Walking Dead, as if they were deleted scenes like you'd find on a DVD. It focuses mainly, though not exclusively, on Carol & Daryl because they're my favorites. I'm following the path of the show, just with extra emphasis on the Caryl relationship.

A drunken Daryl trips over a panicked Carol in the hallway at the CDC and they strike up a conversation. When Shane spots them Carol is ready to get away and uses Daryl as her excuse. Alone in his room they learn they are a lot more compatible than either would have ever thought.

Takes place on the road between seasons two and three. The winter is taking everything out of Carol so Daryl steps in to help. Rated for smut. Very short story.

Set after the season 6 finale. Carol and Daryl both find themselves recuperating at Kingdom. The weeks after Negan's attack bring them closer than ever. WARNING: Major character death.

AU no ZA. Carol and Daryl were best friends from the ages of 8 until they were 18. She moves to away for college and he moves to another state to live with his older brother. Something happened that broke the bond they shared and the two haven't spoken in six years. What happens when they both move back to their home town? Can they repair that bond that they have?

Merle is sentenced to house arrest and discovers the mysteries of the internet. Meanwhile Daryl discovers that Merle is secretly trying to reel in an unsuspecting woman on the web and decides to intervene. When Daryl falls in too deep he goes to extremes to keep her away from his brother, and any other man. Ridiculousness ensues as Daryl sabotages everyone. Including himself.

Sometimes all you can do is just breathe. Carol is seventeen and pregnant and everyone keeps telling her to just breathe. She's trying. AU no ZA Caryl.

Carol Mason has trust issues, but in her line of work, one certainly can't blame her. A twist of fate brings Daryl Dixon into her life, and everything she's come to know about relationships flips upside down.

On one of the coldest nights on record Daryl Dixon stops for a stranded motorist. She's leery, of course, but finally agrees to let him give her a lift home. That one kind gesture on his part, and one act of rebellion on hers, starts the domino affect that changes them both. (Caryl AU no ZA) Unapologetic fluff ensues. You have been warned. When Daryl gets annoyed with his housemates, he decides to move out, taking the only other person he can stand, Carol, with him. He finds the perfect house and refuses to believe the rumors that it's haunted...

Daryl never returned to the prison with Merle. Instead they became a part of a new kind of group. Lawless men. Carol never met up with Tyreese after Rick banished her. Instead she was leading a new kind of group. Women with a Vendetta. When these groups collide, Daryl has trouble coming to terms with what she is and Carol will have to remember that she was once a merciful woman.

Trying to reach someone you care about get them to share with you, but their emotional walls just get higher and higher. Consumed is one of the best episodes ever. A LOVE angsty Carol. It was usually Daryl who was angsty this entire series, and this flip in characters really gave him a taste of his own medicine.

Sometimes, Asskicker was a helluva lot more mature than her mama. In which Daryl makes a promise to Rick, and love knows no distance too great.
