Author has written 20 stories for His Dark Materials, Sherlock, Yu-Gi-Oh, Harry Potter, My Little Pony, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hellsing, Dragonriders of Pern series, and Avengers. Hi, this is StorySongs speaking. You can call me Singer or SS if you'd like. I'm a bit of a crossover fanatic. I haunt many different fandoms and write whenever the inspiration strikes me. Don't expect a regular update schedule. I'm not too good at long chapter stories- short character studies, oneshots, and drabbles are .more my style. I tend to forget to mark my stories as complete when I post them. If a story is described as a oneshot, but isn't marked complete, just assume it's not going to be updated. I probably just forgot to mark it. If you'd like to talk, feel free to message me. I don't bite. But be warned, if you ask me a question about my beliefs about my fandoms, I will happily ramble at you for pages and pages about my favorite characters and plotlines. =p Areas For Improvement In My Writing: Things I'm trying to work on. If you see these in my stories, or anything else that needs improvement, please point them out! I won't take offense (as long as it's phrased at least somewhat politely). -I have issues sticking to one tense (past/present, mainly) when I'm writing. I do my best to catch these when I edit, but sometimes I miss them. -Detailing: I have a tendency to either ramble with far too much detail or skim along with not enough. I'm trying to find the butter zone. -I tend to skimp on characterization of OC's, especially the more minor story characters. I'm on the fence about if it's a truly serious flaw or not. Feedback would be nice. :) Plot Bunnies For Adoption: Random thoughts that I don't feel up to writing for one reason or another- like a crossover that I don't know one or more of the fandoms well enough to write accurately. If any of these inspire you, feel free to write them! Just send me a PM when you publish it so I can read it, and a little acknowledgement in your author's notes for the idea would be really nice. :) Danny Phantom and Criminal Minds Crossover Knowing of Spencer's fame as a psychoanalyst, the secretive government organization "GIW" calls him in to research a very special ghost, hoping to finally find out his obsession and what makes his unusual mind tick. |
