I'm not very good at writing about myself (which is quite surprising, to say the least, because if you ask my friends, I talk about myself a lot), but I'm going to try my hand at it anyway because challenges are fun. Right, so first thing's first, my name is Nina. I'm not going to go into detail on how I got my name, so I'm going to skip over to my age. I'm thirteen.

I suppose I'm quite young... or young enough to surprise people when they ask me how old I am after seeing how tall I am. I guess I'm a bit tall for my age, but I'm not complaining. This is getting redundant. I think. If it isn't obvious yet, I really do enjoy writing but I usually never end up finishing any of my works so I don't think I'll be an author any time in the future. Hopefully I'd be able to make fantastic films when I'm older, if all else fails.

Funny how I was about to start this paragraph with 'I' again. Anyway, I'm a big fan of One Direction, Harry Potter, Looking for Alaska, Ed Sheeran, and Birdy (or Jasmine Van den Bogaerde. Whatever tickles your fancy) to name a few, but my taste in things differs every now and then. I don't stick to one genre of something so...

J.K. Rowling sorted me into Slytherin today, August 28, 2011. I'm not surprised. I've always thought I'd end up there... I suppose, with humbleness aside, I'm destined to become something great? I wouldn't know. I'm no Trelawney.
