Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hey everyone ... I live in the United States :) NY ... well, I Love Harry Potter, in addition to Star Wars - what happened to the new movies? They're HORRIBLE compared to the old ones! Death to Jar Jar! Well anyway I also love The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and the Lord of the Rings, and I read as much as possible in between classes - Huff. Oh and as for my story- um yeahhhh - HBP kinda put a slight damper on my plot - and I hate writting stories not compliant with the books...so I'm trying to adjust the story, and I have a few more chapters in the works ... ( Aug 2006) for book six - Don't read ahead if you have not read it! l l l l l I don't think Snape has really turned completely evil because there are many clues that might point elsewhere and motives that need to be taken into account…. - 1. Snape had entered into the unbreakable vow in chapter two. When Narcissa adds that last part to the vow, Snape is clearly uneasy. I mean Rowling writes, "his hand twitched within hers," and "There was a moment's silence." There had been no pauses answering the other two requests, so why pause at her asking him to kill Dumbledore? I could be wrong, but wouldn't that be an honor if he was a devout Death Eater? Why would he pause… 2. Also we are again reminded of the vow when Harry hears Snape telling Draco how he made it with his mother. Draco tells Snape he doesn't want his help and that Snape will just have to break the vow. 3.This is an even bigger deal when Ron tells Harry that anyone who breaks an Unbreakable Vow will die. 4. So this means if Draco won't kill Dumbledore than Snape has to or he will die. 5. Don't forget Hagrid tells Harry of the argument he overhears between Snape and Dumbledore. Snape talks about how Dumbledore takes to much for granted and that he doesn't want to do it anymore while Dumbledore pushes on to say that he (Snape) had agreed to do it and that was all there was to it. -this might be about Snape's Unbreakable Vow ... it just might, but who knows for sure. I guess it could be about him spying but I seriously doubt that. If he was going back to the Death Eaters, why would he tell Dumbledore he didn't want to do it anymore. Wouldn't he just vanish back to the Death Eaters or continue on saying nothing to Dumbledore. 6. So in the end when Dumbledore says "Severus... please..." in what Harry said was a pleading tone and Snape Avadas him with a look of "revulsion and pure hatred etched into the harsh lines of his face," couldn't that be hate for himself at what he was about to do to save himself following Dumbledore's plan? I believe so... and one more piece of evidence... Oh yes there's more . 7. Why did Rowling describe Snape as looking as if in "as much pain as the yelping , howling dog stuck in the burning house behind them," when Harry calls him a coward for the way he killed Dumbledore? If he had hated Dumbledore why would he be in pain? Sev is not evil- At least not totally : ) Oh and the fact that the Death Eaters used Fred and George's stuff... that was horrible. Like getting hit in the head with your own boomerang throw... LOL |
