Hi welcome. I was given up aged five to live my entire life in secure care homes, really very bad ones too. For most of my adolescence I was force fed sedatives every morning after breakfast. I was beaten and humiliated daily. I learnt to reject the medication and create art secretly throughout the day. Art enabled me to lose myself and find myself at the same time. I have composed many musical scores, written several manuscripts, including “Pious” my first book, and I’ve performed in many plays. I have kept a diary throughout my life where much of the material for Pious was derived. I'm now free. My book "Pious" got me out.
