I'm new to this site; would love some feedback.

I have a shocking confession: I never even read "Mockingjay". I didn't like the direction it was taking, so I wrote my own version just for fun. I tried to remain true to the characters' personalities and to keep to the parameters set up by the first two novels. Please let me know if I got details wrong or if something doesn't ring true. "Merica" would require considerable fleshing out to become a novel (and I will probably never bother), but I have the entire story outlined. I would love it if other HG fans would read it and tell me what works and what doesn't. I welcome your suggestions and participation. And thank you, Ellenka for your encouragement and advice!
