I've had this account for a very long time, but I haven't used it for many many months. Well, ever since I got tired of reading Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction.

Since then my focus has changed.

I was never really into the fandom of Harry Potter while I was left with the first four books. Of course I enjoyed the books greatly, but I never did much with it except have the occaisional discussion regarding it. However, the fifth and sixth books changed my feelings.

It might be because of the thickening plot, or perhaps because of Harry's new found personality; but ever since the fifth book came out I've had more of a drive towards Harry Potter fandom. Though, due to natural artistic procrastination, I've yet to actually get into any of my stories ideas since I spend most of my writing time on original fantasy.

But, AHAH! I finally have a plotline I like enough to write. Also, unlike my original fiction, I don't have to worry about the grand scheme of things and can actually put it out there for people to read. I think it will be a good excercise for me to do some writing with something that isn't my own, and getting some critique on my actual writing style.

Another two fandoms I'd eventually like to some ficcing in would be Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Joss Whedon rocks my socks, but I'm still not sure if I can do his characters justice. Maybe eventually I'll be able to squeeze out something worth while.
