 In a mad world only the mad are sane. It is pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness; poverty and wealth have both failed. The place where optimism most flourishes is the lunatic asylum. Havelock Ellis The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true. A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin. You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you. Wow, I am so much more cynical than I give myself credit for. This is from the only person under the age of twenty who fears getting older more than dying. Which explain my frequent adrenalin addiction and philosophical procrastination habits. I am 14 and go to a private school which is quite dull. I have a year-round tan and dark hair that constantly falls into my eyes which i have been told are a glacial blue though I see them as a normal blue. I don't exactly look on the bright side of the world and believe global warming is not a myth. I play the piano pretty well for my age but I only started it up a few years ago and don't except criticism well. Currently in the longest relationship I have on record with a wonderful girl who favors a sunnier opinion. We're living proof that opposites attract. Favorite: Least Favorite: I usually hate poetry but the ones I find interesting would be Annabel Lee- Edgar Allan Poe, Old Ironside-Oliver Wendell Holmes, and The Listeners- Walter de la Mare That was much longer than expected.
