Detroit is the capital of Androids. However, 2038 is the year when Androids start to change, and nobody is sure why. In the middle of these changes is Natalie. After being locked up in her bedroom for about three years, she is finally able to leave her small apartment and is given a job by her cousin to work with a certain prototype android that goes by the name Connor.

No one expected an android detective to show up, especially not Emma, an officer who specializes in mental health. But while Emma is empathetic, Connor is emotionless, or so he claims. So with more androids becoming deviant and growing fears that the Detroit police will be replaced by androids, will Emma and Connor team up, or will their differences force them onto different sides?

AU Where Connor, Markus, and Kara are actually built like child androids (YK500's) but a little bit different. They are created by Kamski after he has already left Cyberlife and are given something which no other android has; free will. What they do with it has the potential to influence the lives of every single being, human or android, in all of Detroit.

"EV500, you are to be an assistant to the model RK800, registered as Connor." The RK800, registered as Connor, stepped up beside her. CyberLife sends an agent to assist their RK800 detective in the field. Her agenda and CyberLife's conflicted heavily, but she needed their resources and her position to help deviant androids. Hank's daughter joins him in his efforts to stop the deviants. But what happens when a his daughter has such a high influence on the RK800's software instability?
