![]() Author has written 1 story for Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal. Hello world! Let me first clear up a few things. To people outside my family and tight-knit group of friends, my name is Kitt. This name was given to me by my brother Logan (named in dedication to the X-Men), because he found that as a sister, I was like an emergency kit. Always there when asked for with everything anyone could need. Whether it be a hot meal, a shoulder to cry on, or a teammate to slaughter virtual aliens with. Also, it is a single-syllable word. Nevertheless, I take pride in this name. My profile name might be intriguing. I chose this name in honor of the fanfiction writer lovinghannibal, a fellow Lecterphile as she puts it. The reason I did this was despite only having a few stories, she wrote them with very high quality and an ability to capture attention that I've seen no other writer accomplish. I have extreme respect for those able to do this, and I must say I really am a fangirl. If it weren't for Jesus Christ, I wouldn't be here, but most likely 6 feet below the surface in a cemetery somewhere, probably put there by my own hand. He gave me the comfort and strength I needed when I had no one, not even family, only bullies that dedicated their lives to ensuring mine was a living hell. Jesus Christ has helped me reach a place where I am not afraid of the emotional and physical scars received from them. And I am grateful. As Dr. Lecter says, "our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real." That hell I was in was real, but the Jesus that healed the wounds was real as well. I used to have another fanfiction account, and I used to write about Thane and his Siha, Shepard. However, despite my continued love for Mass Effect and the Bioware universes, the place I was in when I was writing was to dark for me to continue, so I had deleted my account, you know, to erase the evidence that I had existed. But now I'm back to writing. Goody goody, cause I've been needing to come out of retirement and return to public reading. My life as an adult has just begun, and I'm no longer being held prisoner in the glass cell of high school. And, despite my dark history, my present and future are very bright indeed, and I couldn't be happier. With Deep Love and Appreciation, Ta-ta! -LHfangirl. Current event: My laptop has run the course of it's life, as it is now almost 6 years old, and has decided it was going to quit. That being said, I am still writing my story Relief, but it may be a while before I can upload the next few chapters. Don't worry though, when I do, I'll upload them all the same day. So far I have 3 written down. :-) |
