Jess Mariano is tired of being the 'sad boy', having no direction in life, he failed high school, failed Luke, failed Rory, he leaves in the middle of the night on the way to his new journey but is stopped for a moment and takes time to reflect what he's done and hopefully finds some sort of resolution - as best as Jess Mariano can.
