Welcome to the Hall of Mirrors, where nothing is exactly how you expect it to be.

The Hall of Mirrors Fan Fiction contest is open to all writers who wish to dip their toes in the water of True Blood and the Southern Vampire Mysteries.

Create a fiction which uses the cannon characters, but they cannot be the same people they are in the books or on TV.

Perhaps Sookie is a Vampire Queen, perhaps Eric is a stripper. Perhaps Pam is a Were, and Talbot runs a bar in Bon Temps, Louisiana.

Put these characters in front of your own Funhouse Mirror and see what is reflected.

Submissions should be sent to the gmail account that follows

With the author's name, and a return email address so winners can be contacted.

Submissions will be posted anonymously under this account for the pleasure of the public, and a panel of judges will award a fabulous Vampire Beach Bag prize to the winning story.

The Contest begins July 1st and will run till July 31st.

Submissions should be 1500 - 10,000 words, and can certainly be 'reclaimed' by the authors after the contest and continued on in their own accounts.
