After taking liberties with their timeline, I decided to splice together an Alex/Piper story of their pre-prison and post-prison lives together. Rated M for sexy stuff because these two are too awesome to keep apart for long. Some references to their time inside will also be made.

First part of the "Covers" Trilogy. It is a novel that starts at the immediate end of Season One. I own nothing! I edit sparingly and typos abound. These characters belong to Piper Kerman, and Jenji Kohan.

Like the childhood game of telephone, eavesdropping and miscommunication leads to incorrect information about Alex and Piper going viral in the prison.
